A talk with Ryland Death of The Terror

I saw the first public appearance of The Terror at 529 one night a few months ago with fellow Dry Ink writer Sean Zearfoss. I really had no idea what to expect, Ryland had been telling me about the idea for a while and I’m still not quite sure how to describe it.  More

Seriously, he’s the best thing out of Athens in a very long time.

From R.E.M., to Pylon, and most recently to The Whigs, Athens has been the center of one of the most important music scenes in the world. As it turns out, though, it isn’t just musicians who are the talented ones in town.

Jasper Cole, an actor from Athens, might just help bring some new attention to the city. He’s been acting, producing, and writing for a little while now and slowly making his way to the top. The guy’s super talented, and moreover, he might just get a big boost as Zeke Pleshette in the upcoming film MacGruber. Just like we rooted for R.E.M. all those years back, we can do the same for Cole.  More
